Therapeutic Modalities

Are you the strong one, the “fixer” everyone depends on? You’ve done todo lo posible to hold it together—making your family proud, building your career, checking every box. But beneath the resilience, there’s overwhelm, quiet grief, and the ache of not feeling fully seen.

If you’ve ever felt torn between your needs and your family’s expectations—you’re not alone. Whether you're grieving the parent you needed, navigating burnout, or setting boundaries that no one understands, I see you. If that sounds familiar, I want you to know this: you deserve support too.

Tailored Support for YOUR Unique Journey

I Work With Adults Who Are Ready to Heal Generational & Attachment Wounds

Many of my clients are high-achieving adults who learned to survive, perform, or care for others before learning how to care for themselves.

They are often:

  • High-achieving professionals experiencing burnout, anxiety, perfectionism, or emotional exhaustion.

  • Eldest daughters and “the strong ones” who feel responsible for everyone else.

  • Men who were taught their worth was rooted in being providers, but who now struggle to emotionally connect with themselves, their partners, or loved ones

  • College students or recent graduates balancing academic pressure with family expectations

  • Adult Children of Immigrants or First-Generation/Second-Generation who are working through attachment wounds, people-pleasing, or relational trauma

  • Adults navigating grief, life transitions, breakups, boundary-setting, or identity exploration, and nervous system healing.

This is a space for people ready to reconnect with themselves, build healthier relationships, and create a life rooted in self-trust, emotional wellness, and values-aligned living—without abandoning the parts of themselves shaped by culture, family, and lived experience.

What You Can Expect

Expect cultural nuance, understanding of your patterns insight, compassionate accountability, and space for both tears and laughter. Together, we’ll co-create a supportive space where you don’t have to perform, over-explain, stay productive, or be “the strong one.” You can slow down long enough to understand not only what you’re feeling —but why your mind and body learned to survive the way they did, and begin coming home to who you are beneath survival mode.

Some sessions may include:

  1. Untangling guilt around boundaries, family expectations, and people-pleasing

  2. Understanding how anxiety, perfectionism, hyper-independence, or over-functioning became survival strategies

  3. Exploring the younger parts of you that learned love had to be earned through achievement, caretaking, or self-sacrifice

  4. Redefining your life through your values by making peace with inherited guilt and releasing who you were taught you had to be

  5. Processing grief, burnout, relational trauma, identity shifts, or major life transitions

  6. Healing from generational trauma and parent wounds that have shaped your self-worth, relationships, and sense of safety

  7. Increasing awareness of patterns in communication, attachment, emotional regulation, and self-trust

  8. Learning to set boundaries that protect your peace while allowing yourself to rest, say no, and take up space without guilt or shame

  9. Helping your nervous system experience more safety, connection, and rest—not just survival

  10. Cultivating more joy, emotional safety, self-compassion, and authenticity in your daily life

THERAPEUTIC MODALITIES

(The Way I SUPPORT HEALING)

Attachment-Focused and Polyvagal-Informed Approaches to strengthen your relationship with yourself and others through safety, self-trust, emotional connection, and nervous system regulation. These approaches help you better understand survival responses while integrating restorative practices that support deeper mind-body healing.

IFS (Internal Family Systems) to help all parts of you feel seen, understood, and less alone in the roles they developed to protect you. This work supports greater self-compassion, emotional integration, and healing by helping you reconnect with your core Self from a place of curiosity rather than guilt/shame.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to increase awareness of the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while helping you challenge patterns that no longer serve you and develop healthier, more supportive ways of responding to yourself and others.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help you regulate emotions, stay grounded, practice mindfulness, and navigate distress with greater ease while strengthening communication, boundaries, and emotional resilience.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to support psychological flexibility, values-based living, and taking meaningful action aligned with the life you want to create—even in the presence of fear, discomfort, or uncertainty.

Brainspotting, a cutting-edge and focused treatment method, utilizes a brain-body, neurobiological approach to healing. It supports the processing of trauma, emotionally charged experiences, and stored body-based distress. By tapping into the brain’s natural ability to locate and process specific points in the visual field, individuals can release stored trauma and pain, leading to profound emotional and physiological healing. This is effective for addressing issues that traditional talk therapy may not fully address.
