From Luchadora to Leader

I’m a proud Mexican American, bilingual therapist, and someone who deeply understands what it means to code-switch, translate for your parents at 6 years old, and carry the weight of everyone’s hopes and dreams. My private practice journey includes completing a leadership-focused program powered by Texas Christian University (TCU), where I learned firsthand the transformative power of leading with values in action. That experience continues to shape how I show up—as a therapist, a supervisor, and a mujer on a mission to help others heal.

I also value disconnecting from work, exploring different cultures, and recharging through travel adventures and peaceful moments in nature with my husband and dogs. I encourage professional adults to cultivate hobbies outside the office—reminding us of the beautiful, expansive world waiting to be discovered. Finding balance and joy in all aspects of life is essential to thriving.
