Online Therapy for Adults Across Texas with Kayla storey-silva, LPC Associate

Kayla is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Adriana V. Sanders LPC-S, who is passionate about helping adults navigate depression, anxiety, grief, and the emotional challenges that often come with them, including panic, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, excessive worry, low self-esteem, identity problems, and difficulties with self-worth. Kayla strives to create a space where clients feel accepted, understood, and never alone in what they are experiencing.

Therapeutic Approaches

Kayla believes therapy should be as unique as the individual sitting across from her. While meaningful conversation is an important part of the process, she also incorporates creative and experiential approaches to help clients connect with themselves in new ways. She enjoys using expressive arts, visual tools, hands-on activities, and personalized coping strategies to make therapy engaging, practical, and tailored to each client’s needs. In addition, Kayla utilizes a diverse range of therapeutic methods tailored to best meet the needs of her clients including: CBT, DBT, Inner child work, and self-compassion focused modalities. 

Kayla is committed to providing a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to be themselves, explore difficult experiences, and build a life that feels more meaningful and authentic. Together with clients, she works to strengthen emotional regulation, increase distress tolerance, build self-compassion, and develop practical skills that can be applied outside of the therapy room. Whether creating personalized resources, exploring emotions through creative expression, or discovering new perspectives, Kayla aims to help clients move toward healing with confidence and hope.
