Facilitated By: Adriana (Adry) Sanders, LPC-S & Certified Sound Practitioner
Adry is a trauma-informed therapist who integrates polyvagal theory, DBT, and attachment-focused care with sound-based healing practices. This series is an extension of her mission: to help clients not only understand their healing intellectually, but to feel it in their bodies.
As a clinician, she’s witnessed how limited session time can make it difficult for clients to consistently practice regulation skills in an embodied way. This series offers a co-regulating, experiential space where participants can begin to feel what safety actually feels like in the body—something many have never had modeled. It serves as a powerful complement to the deeper emotional work being done in individual therapy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this therapy?
No. This is a psychoeducational wellness experience, not a therapy group. While it's led by a licensed therapist, it does not provide psychotherapy, diagnosis, or treatment. It is designed to complement therapy by helping participants practice and embody the skills they’re learning in a supportive, somatic-focused space.
Do I need to be in therapy to attend?
You do not have to be in therapy to join, but this series is ideal for individuals who are currently in therapy and want extra support in integrating emotional regulation and nervous system tools through body-based practices.
What is sound healing, and do I need experience with it?
Sound healing uses instruments like crystal singing bowls, chimes, and voice to support nervous system regulation, deep relaxation, and emotional integration. No experience is needed—just come with an open mind and comfortable clothing.
What’s provided, and what should I bring?
Each participant will be provided with:
A luxury inflatable mat and cozy blanket for comfort during sound healing
A curriculum folder with printed materials for each session
A journal for reflection and integration
We will be spending most of the session on the ground. If you need accommodations such as a chair, please contact us in advance so we can support your comfort and accessibility needs.
We recommend bringing:
Wear comfortable clothes
Water bottle
Optional: eye mask or earplugs
Anything else that helps you feel supported.
Is this religious or spiritual?
No. While sound healing can feel deeply restorative and grounding, this is a non-religious, trauma-informed offering. All belief systems are welcome, and the focus is on emotional regulation and nervous system support.
Can I attend just one session?
To preserve the integrity of the group container, we ask that participants commit to all four sessions. This allows for safety, trust, and progressive learning over time.
Are there payment options available?
Yes. The full value of the series is $250 ($62.50 per session), but you can choose from:
Pay in Full – $235 total
Save $15 when you reserve your spot and pay upfront.Payment Plan – $130 x 2 payments ($260 total)
For added flexibility. Payment plan must be arranged in advance, and first payment is required before the series begins. You’ll be invoiced manually, and advance payment is still required to hold your place.
You are financially responsible for the full cost of the series, regardless of attendance.
*Individual sessions are not available for drop-in.
Can I use my health insurance or HSA/FSA to pay?
This offering is a psychoeducational wellness group, not a psychotherapy service, so it is not billable to insurance. However, because this group is facilitated by a licensed mental health professional and focuses on nervous system education and regulation, some HSA/FSA providers may reimburse you.
If you’d like to use your HSA or FSA, we’re happy to provide a detailed receipt (superbill-style) for you to submit—but reimbursement is not guaranteed, and it is your responsibility to confirm eligibility with your HSA/FSA provider.
What if I miss a session?
We understand life happens. While no refunds are available for missed sessions, handouts or audio recordings of key practices may be offered at the facilitator's discretion to support integration.
What is your cancellation and payment policy?
Payment is due in full at the start of the series. You are financially responsible for the full cost of the series, regardless of attendance.
If you need to cancel a session, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Missed sessions are not refundable due to the small group size and limited availability.
For Therapists/Clinicians:
Who This Is For:
This series is designed for individuals who are:
Actively in therapy and want additional, body-based practice to support emotional regulation
Seeking a trauma-informed space to explore nervous system safety and embodiment
Curious about integrating sound healing with skills-based mental health education
Navigating increased stress, emotional intensity, or family dynamics—especially during the holidays
Adult children of immigrants or emotionally immature parents who often feel overwhelmed or dysregulated
As a therapist, I’ve observed that many clients don’t have enough time in traditional therapy to practice regulation tools in a consistent, embodied way. This series provides a co-regulating space where participants can experience what safety feels like in their body—something many of us have never had modeled. It can be a powerful complement to the deeper emotional work you're doing in therapy.
⚠️ Who This Series Is Not For:
Individuals in active crisis or experiencing suicidal ideation
Those seeking a therapy group or mental health treatment (this is a psychoeducational wellness offering, not psychotherapy)
Anyone needing clinical oversight, case management, or diagnosis
If you’re unsure whether this series is a good fit, you're welcome to reach out for a quick consultation via email.
Is this appropriate for my client with trauma history?
Yes, this series is designed with a trauma-informed lens, meaning practices are invitational, consent-based, and focused on nervous system safety. It’s especially supportive for clients working on regulation and embodiment skills in therapy.
However, it is not suitable for individuals in active crisis, with unprocessed trauma that overwhelms their window of tolerance, or those currently suicidal.
How does this complement individual therapy?
This series gives clients the space to practice and integrate skills (like grounding, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance) in a somatic setting. It reinforces what they’re learning in therapy and often increases self-awareness, embodiment, and resilience.
Will I receive updates or coordination as a referring therapist?
At this time, this offering is not structured as a clinical collaboration. However, if a participant consents, we are happy to provide a general summary of the group focus or skills covered (not progress reports).
